Hello again! Here’s my 3rd Easy Peasy Christmas card for today. As I mentioned in my last post, I had my stamp-a-ma-jig all set up to use with this sentiment so I’m making up for lost time and using to the max today.

Card measures 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
-cut patterned paper (I used Basic Grey, Aspen Frost since I still had it out from my last card) through with the Mini-snowflakes Movers & Shapers Die through die cutting machine (I have a big shot and love it to pieces!)
-ink up die cut snowflakes with embossing ink
-sprinkle clear embossing powder on snowflakes and heat set
-stamp sentiment
-add embossing powder on sentiment and heat set
-add pearls or rhinestones (optional)

This is one of those great cards where you don’t have to use festive patterned paper. The snowflakes die cut just gives you a little snippet and you don’t need an intricate pattern. You can also use colours that aren’t necessarily festive either, the die cut shape takes care of that. You can of course use up those ugly patterned papers that you don’t wish to throw out and the recipient would never know! He, he, he… 😉
You also don’t have to clear emboss the snowflakes either but I love the feel that it gives. I’ve used pearls on this card and it does give a little bit of a dimensional effect. It isn’t enough to affect postage. You can also pick up little round holographic stickers that you can use or even liquid pearls which would give you the pearl look but not as much dimension.

  1. Very happy to get 3 easy peasy cards from you in 1 day!
I like and would make all 3 of them. I really like that you used the same stamp on all of them,
a great tip on how well it works and you only have to clean 1 stamp !!
Way to go and thanks for sharing your lovely cards.

  2. OMG, it’s Carnivore Thanksgiving! I want to come to your house 🙂 YUM.
I think this might be my fave of the 3 – the embossing on the snowflakes may not be necessary but it adds so much oomph!
