Zoë’s Trinket Box – an Inspiration Emporium Feature

Welcome friends! I’m so excited to share this project with you. It’s the one I had been working on for a couple of weeks just trying to get just right!

I was originally going to have this for my June project for Inspiration Emporium but due to technical difficulties on a crafty scale, it’s now my project for July! YaY!

My inspiration for this project is my 4 year old niece, Zoe. I was going to make a box for a magic wand, perhaps something you would imagine from the Harry Potter series. But as I was visualizing this box it became more clear to me to make a trinket box where she can keep things in a cool box.

I’ve posted a few pictures below but please go on over to the Inspiration Emporium for the full tutorial and details.

For the inside lining of the box, I used this set of paper by Graphic 45.

After working out all the kinks, I think I’ll make one or two more as I just loved how it turned out!

Now, all I have to do is just send it filled with some goodies. As late as it is!

Be sure to check out the tutorial on Inspiration Emporium.

Thanks for visiting me today which just happens to be on my 5th blog anniversary!!! I’m currently blogging this from Las Vegas after completing day one of the Craft and Hobby Association summer trade show. I will find some goodies to give away from the show.

Have a great day!

Love,

  1. Congratulations Spike, you are one busy lady. Love the trinket box you made for your niece. I am sure Zoe, will treasure it always, as it comes from her crafty Aunt. Hope you have a great time in Vegas, will want to hear all about it. LOL

  2. Technical difficulties on a crafty scale…how we can all relate! I LOVE how this turned out and I can’t wait to hear what Zoe thinks about it! I love the colours – so perfect for a girly girl to keep her special stuff 🙂
