Easy Peasy Christmas Cards 46 ~ Wishing you a Magical Season

I have been taking the Pattern Play Class from Onlinecardclasses.com , I’ve taken a few classes from them and enjoy them very much. If anything it gets my mojo going when I need a kick start! (that and I’m patterned challenged! lol)
I haven’t been doing my homework (I know, I know…BAD SPIKE BAD!) but after Day #3, a few card ideas popped into by head. I highly suggest taking a card class to get those creative juices going, whether it’s a different layout or even learning one new technique. Sometimes it takes looking at things in a different perspective to get you off and running again!

Card measures 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
Patterned paper measures 4 1/8 x 5 3/8
-die cut snowman (can be anything like ornaments, star, etc.) from card base
-adhere patterned paper to the underside
-stamp sentiment in cobalt archival ink
-sprinkle clear embossing powder and heat set
-trace around the snowman with a sparkly pen, I used a baby blue Spica pen.

I was planning to do something similar with another die (which I am still searching high and low for!) but couldn’t wait to do this card when I put this paper and die together in my head! (Do you do that? Mentally put cards together when you’re doing other things, like laundry? lol)

  1. super cute card! and yes, I put together cards in my head mentally ALL the time. Getting them in physical form is another story altogether though, hahaha
