Yup, you guessed it! I’m at it again! I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do. I did a few doodles in my art journal, did a little bit with my tag project but I wanted to do something that I’d finish in a sitting. I guess I like that immediate gratification! LOL
Last night, though I wanted to start from scratch! I grabbed a blank tag (#10) and started spraying, it colours up pretty quick compared to a journal page. I, of course, looked through that Dylusions stamp set that I totally love, “Say it how it is” and found a sentiment that I wanted to work with today.
Now isn’t that fun?! When I first read that sentiment I pictured Garfield the cat, with his nightcap on, coffee mug and to top it off, bags under his eyes!
I thought Umbrella Man would be perfect for this! I really need to use him more! He’s done here in Perfect Copper, Perfect Pearls. You may notice that the clock is upside down, well that’s intentional! That’s how mornings are for me! lol
These dudes from the TH Warehouse District stamp set. I first stamped them in Chipped Sapphire Distress paint, dried it with a heat tool, then used a Stamp-a-ma-gig (when I want to be precise in my stamping) to shift the image stamped in Archival ink, resulting in a shadow effect.
The rest of the supplies, I used are listed below. Since I used metal on this tag, I’ll be entering it into the Simon Says Stamp and Show challenge this week, which is to use metal on your project 🙂
Thanks for dropping in today! Have a great one!
What’s in the tag: (apologies to my subscribers via WordPress, you’re probably seeing the supplies list in HUGE. Hang tight, the folks over at InLinkz are working on this as we speak. If you’d like to see the list in full, please click over to the blog.
