I’ve been on a little bit of a roll lately! I had done this card a couple of weeks ago, it’s nice to be a little ahead. When the inspiration hits…go, go, go! lol I was inspired by seeing something similar in an issue of Take Ten magazine. (Absolutely FABULOUS magazine btw! Shows you cards that you can whip up in 10 minutes or less!) For this card it’s just 3 elements on the card diagonally. Pretty simple and simple works for me 😉 I’ve broken up the steps with regards to the colour block in the middle to make it a little easier to follow.

Card Measures 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
-take a clear 2 1/2 x 2 1/2″ acrylic block and “squish” the Broken China Distress Ink pad against it until you see little beads of colour (the block doesn’t need to be covered with them, it’s a relatively light colour against the block and can be tough to see)
-spritz either regular Pearl perfect pearls Mists OR Pewter Perfect Pearls Mists (which is what I used) or even water if you don’t have any pearl mists onto the block, usually one or two spritz’s will do (it depends on how dry or wet you want it to look, practice it first on a piece of scrap card stock to see what you prefer)
-press the block against white card stock base and dry with heat tool or let sit
-stamp snowflake and sentiment diagonally (You don’t have to place them diagonally in the direction I had, you can go the other way too!) with Cobalt Archival Ink
-quickly cover sentiment in clear embossing powder and heat
