The night before I had been working on my card for tomorrow’s Drunken Stampers Challenge, it’s almost finished but I keep changing my mind! I had been thinking about it so much that I hadn’t thought of this week’s EP card. Until, I jumped out of bed yesterday morning and *smack*! No I didn’t hit my head against a wall but the idea just came out of nowhere and thought…yeah, totally that’s it! The mind is such a fascinating thing!
Card Measures 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
-Die cut shape & stamp sentiment
-Run through embossing folder
-Brayer embossing ink
-Sprinkle gold tinsel embossing powder and heat emboss
-Glue die cut shape on inside panel
Originally, I wasn’t going to use embossing powder and just sponge on red Distress Ink but then changed my mind as I rolled it out of the Big Shot. I’m glad I did! Tinsel embossing powder is great to use when you know how to use it. Always make sure that it’s mixed well. It has two components, glitter and embossing powder and if you’ve got more tinsel than embossing powder then it won’t stick. I had realized that I hadn’t re-mixed the jar after I had used it yesterday. You can see this with the splotchiness of the coverage. I was going to re-do it but when I picked it up, it just sparkled! It’s difficult to capture it in a photo but you’ll have to take my word for it 🙂
