Easy Peasy Christmas Cards #29 ~ A Graphic 45 Merry Christmas

If this is the first time you’re just joining us and want to know what this is all about, please click either the Easy Peasy Christmas Cards tab at the top (if you’re viewing directly from the blog) or click here to take you to the Easy Peasy Christmas Cards Page OR go to the Easy Peasy Christmas Cards Pin Board on Pinterest to see them all!

This is one of my favourite techniques. I had cut patterned paper pieces all ready to glitter up a few months ago. But there was something about the patterned paper that didn’t truly draw me in. Do you ever find that? Inspiration for me comes in the materials I use. This is definitely the case with Graphic 45’s Nutcracker Sweet! Many of you know that purple is my fave colour and this entire collection is just yummy! It screamed glitter! 🙂 (apologies again for the not so great pic quality 😦 I had been tidying up things a little where I misplaced my good camera and haven’t had a chance to find it yet! Knowing myself, I’ve tucked it away someplace safe!)

Card measures 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
-adhere Be Creative Tape to patterned paper and add Cool Highlight Glitter using Burnished Velvet Technique
-cut out tag from the Graphic 45 Endearing Sentiments Page
-punch hole and tie tinsel

When you find a paper collection you like be sure to check if there’s a sentiments, stickers or labels sheet. It certainly saves you time in looking for coordinating accessories! You can see in this set that there’s a variety of labels, tags, sentiments which will make each card unique. It makes it so much easier to make those cards. As you can see I didn’t have to pull out a stamp set!

  1. Hi Spike,

Interesting tag, I have never looked at Graphic 45 paper, and thanks for the tip about getting the stickers, embellishments etc., that go with the papers.
