I had been thinking about this card for about a week or so! I felt like I was getting a little stale that and being back at work tends to take a lot out of me. I had been challenging myself to make great cards in as little steps as possible. After some thought, I now want to challenge myself to make some great cards but push it more towards 5 steps. Again, they would still have to be easy peasy 🙂

This card didn’t turn out as I had imagined, it’s different but in a great way! My metallic distress stains have been calling me and I couldn’t turn away from them any longer! Metallic stains have a slightly different composition than the regular stains. When using it to stamp something solid like the sentiment, the coverage is uneven. I think it gives it a tarnished silver look! Kinda cool, eh?

(If you don’t like that look and you want something that covers better in metallics, I suggest to use any of the Stazon inks)

The card measures 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
-ink up sentiment with Brushed Pewter Distress Stain and stamp
-ink up background stamp with Brushed Pewter Distress stain and stamp above the sentiment and below
-stick double sided sticky snowflakes
-add glitter

Another easy peasy card done!
