Easy Peasy Christmas Cards #4

Eek! This week had gone by faster than I thought! Today’s post sort of snuck up on me. I had thought about an easy peasy card and had made it earlier on in the week but forgot to blog about it until last night!

In case this is the first time you’re just joining us and want to know what this is all about, please click either the Easy Peasy Christmas Cards tab at the top (if you’re viewing directly from the blog) or click here

I was flipping through a couple of 6×6 paper pads when I thought to do what I had been meaning to do for sometime. (Now if that last sentence made sense to you then kudos to you because I’m not sure what I just said! lol)

Now when you look through these paper packs you’ll find pages with multiple patterns in them that make great trim and edging.

For this card which measures: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
-select a patterned strip and cut (Bo Bunny, Blitzen)
-cut mat (Bazzil Java Cardstock)
-stamp image (Stampers Anonymous, Mini-Holidays)
-stamp sentiment (Stampers Anonymous, Winter Sketchbook)

What I love about this card is the clean and simple design. I often get caught up and am not sure when to stop embellishing. If you wanted to bling up the card a little, instead of using a mat, use a couple of thin stips of Be Creative tape and some microfine glitter. You could also add some pearls or rhinestones too! 🙂
