Happy Valentine’s Day ~ Clean & Simple Sketch #122

For this card I had the black piece without the inchies kicking around for awhile and I was trying to figure out how to use a couple of inchies in it but nothing worked. The patterned paper is from a 6×6 Bo Bunny Crush collection and you may or may not know that the paper in the pads are 12×12 paper shrunk down to 6×6 so the pattern works for card size. I had walked into Classic and saw Shannon had done up some samples using the 12×12 sheets and made inchies with it. AH, HA! Finally the last piece to this puzzle! Shannon you sooo rock!

I realized the card works with last weeks CAS sketch #122

I added some glossy accents on the inchie heart to add subtle texture.

Class rocked yesterday. We um, went a little overtime. I was a little overzealous when I was coming up with techniques to cover and it took a little longer than I anticipated. Everyone went home with inky fingers so it was an awesome day! 😉

Wow, it’s Sunday today. Ugh, I can’t believe how fast the week goes when my schedule changes. It takes me a few months to adjust and when I do, it changes again. lol! I guess that’s what keeps life a hoppin’!

Hmmm…it’s Appreciate a Dragon Day, I honestly have no clue how I would do that! hehe

Thanks for dropping in today!

Love,

  1. Love that card. It really popps. As for dragon, hmm think of who gives you a hard time. How close was your home to the shooting there after Christmas? It turns out the place that got shot at is a daycare mom of mine, freaky.

  2. Hi Spike,

You have to be born a Dragon to know how to treat or appreciate one. HeHe Where oh where, do you get the different days from??? Love the card.
