Tag 7 of Spike’s 12 Tag Journey of 2010 for Charity

If you’re looking for the Digis with Attitude/Drunken Stampers blog hop, please click here for the office party festivities and antics!

I just loooove this tag!! Wait! Didn’t I say that about yesterday’s tags? LOL It keeps getting better and better! Learning more and more new and fun techniques that I should write them down or something!! What I love about this tag, it gave me a flower of a different kind to do with my tattered florals die! Click here to see Tim’s vision as well as his great instructions!

Now that embossing folder is on my wishlist too! Don’t you just love the real life look of the wood? As I didn’t have the wood grain embossing folder, I just used distressed stripes instead.

In making the poinsettia it reminded me of crafts past when I used to make poinsettia beeswax candles, where I’d sculpt each petal before gluing it to the base. I knew those skills would come in handy one day! 😀
The leaves are rather big as I used a Spellbinders sunflower petal, this is where I say…um, it’s artistic license! LOL

Don’t forget all the tags will be auctioned off in a silent auction at Classic on Alexander where the proceeds will go to the Ann Davis Transition Society. There will also be a raffle too, details will be coming soon! For more information about the Ann Davis Transition Society, please visit them here.

Thanks again for dropping in to check out this 12 tag creative journey!!

Love,
