Distressing Chipboard ~ Drunken Stampers Challenge 17

I can’t believe how fast time is flying these days! I had gotten back from Peggy’s and had a complete blast with everyone there! Then it was right back into work and it feels like I just blinked and we’re at the long weekend! This year has been going by at a crazy pace. Kind of distessing isn’t it?? LOL (sorry for the real bad pun)

We’re getting out our distressing techniques and using it on chipboard for this weeks challenge! I was just colouring this image at a friend’s place and knew I had wanted to incorporate it somehow in the challenge. With the chipboard piece, I had sanded it and then used Tumbled Glass, Broken China and Faded Jeans Distress Inks to colour it. I know the piece looks a little blingy but it’s not what you’re thinking. It’s Distress Crackle Paint Clear Rock Candy! Yup I was quite pleased with the end result!

What’s in it:
Paper: Bazzill Bling, Nook and Pantry (Basic Grey)
Stamp: Lockhart Stamps
Ink: Black Dye (Amuse)
Embellishments: Bazzill Chipboard, Prima Flowers, Kaiser Pearls

Keep an eye out for next week’s challenge as we’ll be having a guest stamper in the lounge!! I am SUPER excited and can’t wait to see what she does with next week’s challenge!

Well my dear friend Lisa is teaching today at Classic and while I’ll be getting my card samples ready for a few classes coming up, I hope to sneak over and check out more Ranger techniques!

Hope you have a great weekend! Thanks for dropping in today!

Love,

  1. Love the card and the little dress is outstanding Have not used Crackle Paint, must give it a try. Will look for some on Tuesday, after Classy Broads meeting.
