Go Grab a Coffee – Drunken Stampers Challenge #13

Coffee is our theme this week for the Drunken Stampers. I don’t remember how we realized it but the entire DT really LOOOOVES their coffee!

Here’s what I did with the challenge:

I had been thinking about this card all week not sure at how I was going to go about it. And piece by piece the card slowly came together in my head. One cool addition was the ground coffee beans at the base of the image, that was Shannon’s idea after I mentioned that I was going to glue some coffee beans to a card!
So in case of caffeine emergency, I guess you could lick the card!
After I put the whole thing together I thought of a couple of things that I could add to it. Don’t you hate it when that happens??? LOL

What’s in it:
Paper: Memory Box
Stamp: Hero Arts
Ink: Black Dye Amuse, Walnut Stain Distress Ink
Embellishments: Spellbinders Nestabilities Deckled Ovals, Cuttlebug D’Vine Swirls, Coffee Beans, Glossy Accents.

Be sure to drop by the Drunken Stampers blog to see how Donna, Linda and Peggy tackled this challenge!

Today should be a relatively quiet day today. I will be at my usual hangout (Classic) to get ready to teach a Big Shot class on Tuesday and prepare some card samples for a demo Thursday.

Have loads of fun this weekend! Thanks for stopping in today!

Love,

PS. As you can tell I did find my camera! As the saying goes…it’s in the last place you look! Which makes sense because why would you keep looking for it after you’ve found it???

  1. Hi Spike,

You can always count on Shanon, for some good ideas. I love the card, it makes me feel as if I could pick up a cup of java immediately. See you at the hang out this afternoon
