Guess what? It’s once again Wednesday with the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog’s Be Inspired Challenge! With this week’s challenge, we’re playing with vellum with an Easter themed project. And this week’s challenge is sponsored by the Crop Stop, where drawing a couple of $5 gift certificates if you participate in the challenge. It was fun and easy, give it a go!!
It was a quick a relatively simple project that you can whip off quickly. I started with a sealer jar and first used the Fiskars Sunburst Border punch on a strip of vellum that I had also used on the card. I then went crazy using the Spellbinders, Oval Nesties on a bunch DCWV pieces of pastel coloured cardstock. After, I embossed the “eggs” using several different Cuttlebug Embossing folders: D’Vine Swirls, Swiss Dots, Argyle, Tiny Bubbles, Houndstooth and Tiny Mosaic Texture. Then I stuck them on a strip of light purple cardstock then onto the vellum. I did the same with the card and added a stamped bunny image from Verve’s Some Bunny Set. To top it off, I tied some purple and blue ribbon on the jar and that’s it! Easy, peesy!
Materials: Sealer Jar
Cardstock: DCWV (Die Cuts With a View) pastel stack, Vellum
Stamps: Some Bunny (Verve)
