The King of Rock and Roll

When I was playing (I’m an instructor and DT member) at Classic on Alexander this past Friday, the Cornish Heritage Farms (CHF) order came into the store and there were a couple of Demo stamps that I brought home to play with and make some cards for the store. Talk about dedication and bringing my work home with me!

Ahhhhhh…Elvis…the sexy Elvis when he was in his prime and got into trouble for gyrating those hips! I kept the card black and white to keep the feel of the silhouette.

Well…here’s how it turned out…

Special details with the card, I stamped the silhouette image twice where one was clear embossed and cut out. On the second image, I traced around it with Copic C1. Then I popped dotted the first image on top of the second. And the entire panel is also pop dotted on top of the hound stooth. To give the card a sleek feel, I stamped the Fine Houndstooth Scrapblock onto Glossy Cardstock with Tuxedo Black and heat set it.

Paper – White Daisy (CTMH), Bazzill, Glossy Paper
Stamps – Mic Swingin’ Silhouette (CHF), Fine Houndstooth (CHF)
Ink – Onyx Black (Versafine), Tuxedo Black (Memento), 05 Micron Pen (Sakura)
Embellishments – Clear EP, Pop Dots

Well it’s Monday today and I hope you have a great day! Give someone a hug today!! 🙂

Thanks for dropping in!
