Cuttlebug Challenge Blog – Be Inspired #18

It’s time again for the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog‘s Be Inspired Wednesdays! For Be Inspired #18, we were asked to make a “shape” card. This is something different that I don’t do normally, this is a challenge! I’ve known about this for a while and trying to search high and low for a “shape” card design that I would be interested in was rough! Nothing says inspiration like the last minute!
This is what I came up with…

I found the template for the card here. And although the pattern was for a shoe on a card, I just enlarged the pattern to make a shoe card. After I embossed the Houndstooth on the front panel, I brayered the Black Onyx on top. Once dry, I assembled all the pieces together to form the front. For the back, I traced the assembled front panel onto white daisy cardstock then made a hinge out of white cs and glued the back to the front. In case you’re wondering, it looks like a size 6 to me! LOL

Card Composition:
Paper – Black (Colormates), White Daisy (CTMH)
Stamps – Shoes Vol. 1 (Cape Arago Rubber Stamps)
Ink – Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Embellishments – Houndstooth EF (Cuttlebug), Prima Flowers, Filigree Brads (SU), Clear Stardust Gel Pen (Sakura), Curve Rectangles Mega Nesties (Spellbinders)

Be sure to visit the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog to see how the other DT members did with the “Shape Card” Challenge!!! It will be a treat for the eyes and give you loads of ideas on how to use your Cuttlebug or Big Shot Machine!

Thanks for taking the time to drop by! Have a great Wednesday!!!

Love,
