A Little Fall Season for CPS

Well, I thought I’d throw my hat into the ring for the CPS challenge that just closed this weekend. I wasn’t sure what I was going to do but I was drawn to the fall/autumn.

Since last season, I hadn’t inked up this stamp from Verve and I guess it was about time to!

Card Composition:
Paper – Bazzill, Indian Summer Hazy Days (Lasting Impressions), Orange Citrus Dot (Bo Bunny)
Stamps – Hello Pumpkin (Verve), Tall Oaks (Verve)
Ink – Creamy Carament (SU), Close to Cocoa (SU), Chocolate Chip (SU), Bics, Y00, E33 (Copic)
Embellishments – Clear EP, Angel Wings (Shimmerz), Mini-Rhinestones, Textile EF (CB), Pop Dots, Corner rounder

One of the hardest tasks making this card was colouring the pumpkins. The only orange I had around were Bics and Sharpies and the orange was quite dark and looked more red than I had wanted. Sooo….I took out Y00 Copic Marker and transfered some of the orange from the Bic marker tip to the Copic brush tip then coloured the pumpkins. This needed to be done repeatedly as the orange slowly is used up on the Copic brush tip! Ahhhh…lots of patience!

Hope your day goes great! As always, thank you for dropping in.

Lots of love,
