Well, I’m leavin’ and that’s that! LOL I’m heading off to Ontario, leaving at 9am this morning and should be getting into Toronto at 6:45pm. Jeff and I will be spending just over 10 days with his family having an early Christmas there. So I’m leaving behind the card crafting, carting off the entire room isn’t quite feasible. I’ll be bringing a few things, the basics as my MIL is interested in card crafting and has never done it before. We’ll start off slow but she’s got quite the talent and I could see her whipping off her own designs in no time!
While I’m back east, don’t worry! I haven’t left you without! I’ve scheduled something everyday…yes…EVERY DAY! 😀 Don’t say I don’t look after you! 😉 I’ll be periodically checking in amongst the baking, decorating and merriment! Besides, I always love hearing from you. 😀
I thought I’d start off this slow and easy! You know how much I love easy cards and when they look absolutely stunning to boot!
Not long after the Cuttlebug lace tree tutorial, I got to thinking…what other embossing folders would look great on foil cardstock? (I need to remember to stock up early on foil cardstock next year, it’s difficult to find in the middle of Christmas crafting season!)
With this card, I just embossed the silver foil with the snowflakes embossing folder, mounted it on blue Bazzill cardstock and glued on the metal tag (sorry, I don’t remember where I picked that one up!).
Stunning, don’t you think?
The only challenge with this card was taking the photo!
Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by! Hope you have a fabulous day!
