Verve Sketch Card #1

Well over at Vere is the Verve Holiday Release Sketch Blitz!! In celebration of the new Verve stamps being released this Sunday, the gal with the mostest (owner, designer, shipper, etc for Verve) Julee Tilman is releasing a sketch a day for 5 days which started Tuesday and continue to Saturday as a lead up to the launch! If you complete all 5 sketches and upload them to Splitcoast by midnight Saturday, 2 peeps have a chance to win ALL the new releases! AND there are other prizes too of the individual stamp sets for each sketch. So you don’t have to do all of them to win something!
Be sure to head on over to the Verve forum on Splitcoast for all the Verve-alicious details!

Here’s sketch #1

Here’s my take on it:

I’ve taken the Bo Bunny BT (DP) and stamped one of the snowflakes from Verve’s Winter Wonder set in Versamark and heat embossed it with Iridescent Powder. I then sponged Blush (CTMH) ink overtop for the emboss resist effect. On the Cranberry Bazzill cardstock, I took the same snowflake and stamped the bottom with Cranberry (CTMH) ink, dabbed Angel Wings (Shimmerz) on the tips and after it dried, Liquid Glass aka. Crystal Effects. And the sentiment was embossed in white!
With the same snowflake, I stamped it in Cranberry Ink again, heat embossed it, coloured the centre with Angel Wings (Shimmerz), added Burgundy Stickles to the tips and topped the centre off with a red rhinestone.

Hope you enjoyed it as much as I had making it! Now off to do sketch #2! Have a great day!
