Playing with Christmas Holly

So like there was this sale at my LSS last weekend…I usually tend to get into trouble not only with my LSS but you add SALE or COUPON and well…I’m sure you have no idea what I’m talking about!! LOL

I received an email coupon for buy 2 and get one free “Peel Off’s” stickers. I have seen these around but have usually walked right pass these in the store. I made notice of it last week when my fave card gal, Pauline in my LSS (she should TOTALLY be called…”The Enabler” ‘cuz she’s bad! REALLY BAD for my bank account! LOL) had placed a demo card for an upcoming class on the demo tree. I took notice of it because the snowman she had done totally looked like stained glass! (and noooooo…I couldn’t just leave it alone!) So she proceeded to show me “Peel Off’s” stickers, how thin and delicate they are! They’re great alone BUT when you pair them up with Sakura Glaze Pens…yeah. (Peggy had told me about these pens over the summer but didn’t pay attention! Sorry Peg!!) I was looped! I didn’t have a chance! And when you add on a Buy 2 get 1 for free coupon…yeah…no chance! They also had a Buy 2 yards of ribbon get 1 free so I couldn’t waste that coupon either!

And of course while I was in the store I had to check to see if any new Christmas paper had arrived and sure enough the new Basic Grey Wassail Christmas Paper was in! So I picked up a 6×6 pad and a couple of 12×12 sheets of my fave patterns.

Here is the result of that trip!

I know I could have added more bling, some ribbon, etc but I really wanted to focus on the central piece and keep it simple.

Card Composition:
Paper – Bazzil, Basic Grey Wassail
Ink – Sakura Glaze and Glitter Pens
Embellishments – Peggy’s Pretties, Peel Off’s Stickers

YIPEEEEE!! It’s Friday!!

Thanks for stopping by!
