More variations from the barrage of colour decisions

One thing I can truly appreciate with stamping, card making, colouring, etc is that it can be meditative. Well alright, I know it can be frustrating at times but when you’re in that groove; I find it can get hypnotic and soothing.
I found out yesterday that my uncle in Indiana passed away. We weren’t close by far but he was the eldest of my father’s family and the first to pass on. It’s that eye opener that hits you.
Yesterday, I had planned a few things but instead, I spoke with family members and friends all the while keeping my hands busy and stamping, gluing, taping and colouring.
I realized I need to do more paper crafting to keep my thoughts in order and my spirit renewed.

I’m curious! Other than the satisfaction of your work, what else does your paper crafting do for you? I would love to hear from you, please let me know in the comments section 🙂

Here’s a few more cards using the Sheet Load Sketches from November ’07 from the project I started a couple of days ago.

Remember that Black Tie paper I picked up a few days ago? Well I decided to colour in a small swatch with the Bics and Sharpies, I’m happy with it other than the dark green vine. I’ll work it into a card soon enough!
