I just wanted to thank everyone for their well wishes and their condolences. Our trip went by quickly but was great to catch up with family!

Have you ever had those times where you thought that it’s been you the entire time?
That’s been the story with this sentiment stamp. I love the font and the layout of the stamp. A lot of the time with EPCCs, I would stamp the sentiment last. You can imagine how frustrating it can be, making a card and the sentiment stamps crooked! ACK! I discovered last night…that it’s NOT me! LOL (Now how does that saying go? It’s the poor crafts person that blames their tools!) But not in this case!! LMAO! I wanted to make sure that when I stamped this sentiment in embossing ink, that it was straight. So I took out my stamp-a-ma-jig to give me a hand. Lo and behold…the stamp is slightly crooked on the block! Bwahahaaa. If I had only known sooner, many cards would have been saved!

This card measures 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
-emboss folder on black linen card stock base
-take a finger sponge and load it up with gold Inka Gold and sponge over top the snow man
-take a sponge or a piece of cut and dry foam and dip in gold Inka Gold (don’t load it up too much), lightly rub over card to accent linen texture. (it kind of gives it a gold snowstorm/antiquey/grungey feel)
-stamp sentiment in embossing ink (use stamp a ma jig for alignment)
-sprinkle gold tinsel embossing powder and heat

I had been wanting to play around with Inka Gold and couldn’t resist it on black! Gold and black is just decadence!
