Imagine Tag

Well over at the Creative Chemistry Class 101, the “live” part of the class is over (where one could post questions and pictures of your creations) but the videos, pdfs are all still available so it’s not too late to take the class at your own pace! And for $35 it’s a steal! :)

I had created this tag from moped up inky bits. I have a few tags now that have moped up inky bits, you can guess that this becomes perpetual! Every time I work on a tag or in my journal, I’m bound to have over spray or ink left on my craft sheet where I’d usually wipe it away. So by creating, I end up creating more! Know what I mean? lol

Hmmmm, I don’t even know where to begin as it was a tag that grew and grew. FYI it is an oversized tag, it’s not the regular #8 tags that I use.
I’ll give you the highlights…fun things were playing with picket fence distress stain, using distress embossing powder on the grunge paper birdcage, painting perfect pearls on the bird, using a texture hammer on the brad and colouring the seam binding with Forest Moss.
For techniques, I’ve used on it..blended spritz and flick, rusted grunge, stamping with stains, there’s probably a few more in there too!

If you’re curious about any other supplies please check the tags area as I’ve listed most of them there. I was super stoked to see that over at Simon Says Stamp and Show that their challenge this week is to make something using a Tim Holtz technique, YIPEEE!! Have a looksie over at their challenge blog for some great ideas. :)

Thanks for visiting today! Have a happy hump day!

Love,
