What had prompted me to do this card was that I was inspired by a Try a New Technique on SCS that was inspired by Beccastamps! If you haven’t seen this woman’s work…you have GOT to, visit her blog Amazing Paper Grace. Her cards are absolutely phenominal!
I first started off with a Holly Corner Punch by EK Success and punched some Bazzill red paper. Unfortunately, it didn’t turn out as I had hoped! But I still had this punched piece of cardstock and was looking for an appropriate sketch when I came across SCS Sketch 190.
The holly card:

Points of interest: In the Holly Peel Off’s, after I had stuck them onto the BT paper, I first coloured in the open spots with Sakura Glaze pens a few times to give it a few coats. Then once I thought it was glassy enough I did a final coat with Spica pens to give it a glittery look but with depth. I added a hand sketched border around the sentiment panel because it looked like it needed something! The final dimension of the card is a 6×6.
Card Composition:
Paper – Bazzill, Green Dots (Bo Bunny), Holly (Bo Bunny)
Stamps – Winter Wonder (Verve)
Ink – Cranberry (CTMH)
Embellishments – Holly Punch (EK Success), Peel Off’s, Green Flourish Ribbon, Glaze Pens (Sakura), Spica Pens (Copic), 0.005 Microfine (Sakura), Rhinestone (Kaiser)
Thanks for popping by! Have a great Wednesday!
