So I didn’t want you to think I’d dropped off the face of the Earth or decided to change hobbies or run off with the circus…mind you with the way this crazy week flew by I felt like I was juggling a few things! :D
Believe it or not I have been card making like a mad woman and teaching too? Wednesday I was helping my friend Jane with her card workshop and had oodles of fun! Saturday I was a guest teacher, teaching a class at my LSS on how to make those snazzy ribbon poufs! Oh what fun! I had a BALL and definitely would love to do that again!
I also just got into the Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer. I first started listening to the first book on audio but got too involved in it that by the middle of the second book, I ran to find a paper copy to read! I just finished reading the third book, Eclipse, late Saturday night er Sunday morning…I guess 5am is Sunday, eh? LOL
In amidst of reading I have been making cards…honest! BUT! I can’t show most of them to you…well just not yet! ;) How many more Christmas cards do you still have to make? I’m just over half, I think I have about just over 25 still to do.
OH! And in case you were wondering…my colleague at work LOVED the card and I had finished the 5 thank you cards this past Thursday evening. Funny thing is that I got my new Verve stamps Thursday and my new The Cat’s Pajama’s (TCP) Friday…I am dying to play with them but haven’t had the chance. Hopefully Monday?!
Hmmm…I gather that you’re here looking for something new? Well! Let’s see what I can find…
Do you have card parts lying around? I do!!! I’ll start something and if I can’t figure out how to finish it, I’ll leave it to go back to it later. Later can mean…an hour from now…a week…a month or even never! This card started off a few weeks ago from one of Beate’s sketch challenges but something wasn’t working for me and so I left it. The sentiment which is from Close to My Heart finished it off…hmmmm…now looking at it again…I think I’ll add a piece of organdy ribbon to it!
Paper – Bazzill, Snowflakes (I don’t remember who made it!)
Stamp – Festive Thoughts (CTMH)
Ink – Ruby Red (SU!)
Embellishments – Rhinestones (Kaiser), Peel Offs Stickers, Glaze Pens (Sakura), Glitter Pen (Sakura), Arctic Snowflake Punch (Martha Stewart), Clear Heat Embossing, Paper Piercing, 3D Dots
I guess I’m off scot-free (well not exactly…I’ve got to work on my Christmas cards!) for the next couple of days as I have a couple CSAD’s to show you…(did I tell you how much I love the scheduled post feature?) please come back to check them out as they are a couple of my fave CSAD cards! What’s my absolutely MOST FAVE CSAD card? You’ll have to check it out on Dec.25! ;)
Happy Stamping and have a great Monday!
