One cannot have too many thank you cards around. After Jeff and I had left Peggy’s, we headed off to Vernon to visit Jeff’s uncle for lunch at the Davison Orchard. What a great place, although difficult to find (I strongly suggest you get a GOOD map) it’s a gem! Tractor rides through the orchard, lots of fresh fruit, vegetables and pies! Not to mention a birds eye view of Vernon!
As much as a verbal Thank You is always polite, the Thank You card is always heart warming to receive! When I get around to thinking of sending a card it seems a lot more work when all my supplies are packed away. It’s much easier when you’ve got that supply. That is also so true of birthday, anniversary and congratulatory cards, at least with me it is!
I was reading Sparkle’s Blog when she mentioned the Sheet Load of cards blog, which helps you make a bunch of cards at a time. That’s a great site and I anticipate will help me in my card procrastination issues.
The latest sketch inspired me (July 2008), it’s very simple only that I didn’t have a circle punch or two. I modified it but it gave me the basic layout.
Here’s what I used:
CTMH: For every occasion stamp set, pansy purple ink
SU: elegant eggplant cardstock
Other: All My Memories Paper, white cardstock, that mauve cardstock I have laying around, bauble from Peg. The embossed cardstock is courtesy of Peg’s Cuttlebug.
These cards are already spoken for and I need to make a few more! Back to the grind!
Love,
PS. Did I tell you that I’m fond of the colour purple?
