I used this card for Christmas 2007. I was driving to work on Valentine’s Day 2007 and somewhere the inspiration from many elements came together for this card.
Here’s what’s all involved:
SU: elegant eggplant cardstock 5.5″ x 4.25″ ; almost amethyst cardstock 3.75″ x 8″ scored at 3″; copper cardstock 3.25″ x 8.5″ scored at 4.25″
CTMH: New Fallen Snow stamp set, Pansy Purple and Amethyst re-inkers
other: glossy card stock 3″ x 4″, 2x 5″ long 1/4″ ribbon (I picked up a few different spools from the dollar store)
Other: White embossing powder
I will post a tutorial for those who are interested in the embossing resist.
I would love to hear your comments on it!
Love,

Hi, I love your color combinations, your entire card is beautiful.
Did you also create the background or is that paper?
Beautiful, just beautiful.
Alex
Thanks Alex! The background is done by adding rubbing alcohol then re-inkers to a cotton ball and then dabbed onto the glossy cardstock. This is done after the snowflakes have been embossed. Thanks for popping by!
